Is this the year of the Mouse or somethin'?

                                                                      

Two Newbery medalists known mostly for their books featuring people...both publish books featuring anthropomorphic mousies within a couple months of each other. Even similar colors on the covers...Hmmm.

(And as of yesterday, it's the year of the Rabbit...just to get all Librarian on myself)
