What a Happy Holiday!

Nothing like spending the day with your Honey...Had an early visit from Santa (we always get up early) & I woke at least one sibling by calling AFTER we were done with presents and breakfast. :-) We saw "The Spirit" (eh, it was OK). Then home to "read" ... I have books to review so I couldn't read any of the three great books I got for Christmas... Then we had our traditional "niblins" and champagne while watching dvds...Futurama & Kiki and Herb--fabulous!

I hope everyone had as nice a day as we did!

My Favorite News Story of the Year

Finally! Some honesty from a journalist.

Shoe Dodge

This really expresses the opinion of most of the population of the world. Utter disdain for a complete failure.

Is there a fund set up to donate to the journalist's defense fund? I'm in!

The lamest of lame ducks tries to do a little bit more damage before they ride him out of town on a rail...and he gets what he deserves. (Well, that would be life in jail spent working for the families he has destroyed...but we'll have to take what we can get...Iraqi shoes nearly in the face).

Blogging @ Work Still Fun...

When Blogging's part of work...I think it makes it even more fun. Reviewing books for the past ten years (sheesh!) has gotten me into the perfect state of writer's-mind to say what needs to be said in 300 words or less. I get to blather about something I like AND get paid for researching it and writing it. Weee!

Dayton Metro Library is moving further into the digital age! Our Teen areas have MySpace pages...and now the Adult Services Department has it's own Blog that we all (can) contribute to. Of course, I jumped right on that...
